San Man Colonel, a Peppy San Badger, double bred Colonel Freckles cross, is siring smart, athletic, cow horses. Although San Man Colonel was unable to be shown due to a neck injury, he is passing on his talent of instinctively working a cow. We are proud to offer prospects that showcase our breeding philosophy of good minds, straight legs, big hips and cow sense. Enjoy the ride on a ‘San Man’!

San Man as a youngster showing his natural ability to make a deep cut, this was a herd of over 25 steers. After playing with a steer he gathered the entire herd into the holding pen and cut a single steer out to play with in the arena. This is the only camera snapshot we took as the rest was captured on video once we realized what a show he was putting on.  San Man was put into training after our trainer saw his tape, but stopping hard bothered  his neck  injury, so a show career had to be cancelled.

Enjoy the Ride on a San Man!
